Coaching Impacts – a year long exploration

A major international funder, the Oak Foundation, has asked CIAO to explore the impact of our coaching after reading Coaching Behind Bars. We’re delighted they’ve given a grant that will help us do this and to spread the word about just how much coaching can achieve.

This funding will help us explore who else is coaching for social and/or criminal justice across the world and to review the existing evidence for coaching’s effectiveness. Then we’ll consider how else we might measure the results. This year-long Coaching Impacts project will increase knowledge and understanding about what coaching is on offer in the social justice arena, as well as about coaching’s impact more widely and how to measure it for everyone’s benefit. All the learning and information will be shared widely and freely.

CIAO’s aim throughout this is that far more coaching is commissioned from us and others to help people change their own lives for the better, as we exist to support and encourage others to coach, as well as providing coaching ourselves.

If you’d like to know more just give me a call or drop me a line. I’ll be in touch with more on this soon.
