Coaching Inside and Out uses life coaching to challenge and support people convicted of offences or at risk of offending.
Clients realise their strengths, find their own solutions, and improve their lives and the lives of others with techniques used by business leaders. The charity questions assumptions about people’s potential to change and works with clients as humans looking to the future, not as offenders dwelling on the past. Coaching helps clients get to the root of their problems, beliefs and hopes to unlock their potential, for the benefit of us all.
To support this work we are seeking a new board member who is enthusiastic, committed and feels they can add real value to the organisation. CIAO currently has a strong and vibrant board, members of which have all served in senior positions: Executive and Non-Executive across a range of sectors. We are looking to complement the existing strength of the Board and would particularly welcome candidates who bring:
- Experience of large scale public sector commissioning;
- Financial and business acumen relevant to scaling up businesses; and
- Private sector experience – which informs the challenges of balancing entrepreneurialism and risk management; strategic planning and opportunistic business growth typical in volatile markets.
The board meets 6 times a year with 3 face to face meetings (usually 5pm-7pm) in Manchester city centre, close to Piccadilly Station, plus a full strategy day once a year.
Please send a short summary of your relevant experience to our Chair, Liz Cross (firstname.lastname@example.org) and copy our CEO, Anna Maddox (email@example.com) or call to arrange a chat and more information on 0845 652 1300.
