Great coaches need great supervisors and we’re looking for intuitive people who stretch themselves and others with warmth and the belief that all our clients deserve the very best. This extraordinary opportunity means you can help people in prison and out, even if not able to work there yourself.
CIAO works with those convicted of offences or at risk of offending to help them improve their lives and the lives of others. Supervisors help the charity’s coaches reflect so they can do even more to help our clients (you won’t be managing coaches or services).
You’ll arrange virtual individual and group supervision sessions flexibly to suit coaches’ availability, including evenings. Everyone in CIAO also meets up occasionally around Manchester to exchange ideas, collaborate on future plans and be part of our sociable coaching community.
- Experienced at supervising coaches who work with people with very low self-esteem, motivation and other challenges – both individually and in groups?
- Committed to developing your skills and increasing your understanding of the challenges and opportunities of coaching within the criminal justice system?
- Confident in helping coaches keep themselves and others safe and secure?
- Self-employed (supervisors are offered payment) or willing to work on a voluntary basis?
Do you want to have an impact at a different level?
Complete the form here by 8am 25th April and, if shortlisted, we’ll invite you to an online group event in the morning on 10th May 2022 with individual interviews in the afternoon.
